How Todd Lubar Sees The Baltimore Real Estate Market Going

As a longtime mortgage lender in the Baltimore community, Todd Lubar has his finger on the pulse of the real estate market. Baltimore is an interesting place in that even though the total population is dipping younger people are moving to the city in droves. The rebounding economy is encouraging these younger people to move to the city where there are jobs for them in a number of industries including the tech industry.

One thing this had led to, Todd Lubar says, is high demand for apartment units. In response, real estate developers have been buying older buildings and then renovating them into much nicer places to live. The result is a lot of newer apartments and condos being available in Baltimore than a number of years ago.

Baltimore is also expanding its public transportation network. This makes it much easier for those who want to both live and work in the city. It’s also been helping people in the suburbs who can take public transportation into the city and avoid paying for parking which can get rather expensive real quick.

Lubar expects the cost of living to not rise that quickly in Baltimore in the next few years. He says this is great for those who can’t afford to live in Washington D.C. He also notes that the large number of young professionals is causing a boom in restaurants as well as luxury shopping boutiques.

Todd Lubar has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years. He has an extensive background in finance, credit, and mortgage applications. He is the president of his own company, TDL Ventures, which offers real estate mortgages to its customers. He is also employed at Legendary Investments as a senior vice president.

Another facet of the real estate industry that Todd Lubar is noticing is all of the technology being included in new homes nowadays. People are also adding this tech to their existing homes, increasing their value. He says that he loves being able to control his air conditioner, fans, and lights from his smartphone and recognizes how this adds value to his home. View his full profile on Linked In.
